Before starting Primitive Groove productions, Hunter Senftner directed music videos for Jane Weidlen, Stir, Sorya, Goldfinger, Morbid Angel and others on labels such as Geffen, Island/Polygram and Capital Records, garnering him an impressive amount of industry attention as a visionary Director with his finger on the pulse.


While building his strength as a Director, Hunter also worked as a Cinematographer on Music Videos, Shorts, and Industrials, for such clients as BCBG Maxazria, X-Box, Nintendo and Lazy Bone; and as a Camera Operator on long form concert videos for Nine Inch Nails, Macy Gray, The Wall Flowers and Ozzy/Black Sabbath.


Hunter has also worked as an Editor on countless Movie Trailers, TV Pilots, Music Videos and Documentaries, naming VH1, DreamWorks, ABC Television and The Independent Film Channel as a few of his past clients.
